In Finland, work is underway to prepare for the second round of the 2019/2020 World Cup.

In Soelden there were no problems in preparing the giants that will open the season next weekend, but autumn seems to help (after particularly complicated years) also Levi, who will host the first slaloms scheduled for Saturday, November 23 with the women's race and Sunday 24 with the men's.
More than a month after the event, four weeks away from the opening on the Rettenbach, an anomaly in this year's calendar, in the town beyond the Arctic circle the temperatures are constantly below 0 degrees, thus making it possible to "fire" artificial snow and form the basis of "Levi Black", with a mixture formed by natural snow that has fallen in the last few days and that preserved thanks to the snowfarming technique, which is now constantly used also in Levi.
The last cancellation dates back to November 2015, while the last three editions did not suffer from particular problems despite, in some cases, very high temperatures. This year, all the more reason, everything seems to be proceeding best.
