Six World Cup winners were summoned by the Italian Alpine Ski Sports Director Massimo Rinaldi for the rally held on the Austrian Hintertux Glacier from today to next Wednesday.

The group is composed of Marta Bassino, Federica Brignone, Irene Curtoni, Sofia Goggia, Francesca Marsaglia and Karoline Pichler with the head of the Italian alpine ski expert Matteo Guadagnini and the technicians Luca Liore, Ettore Mosca and Gianluca Rulfi. The rally follows that of last week at the Stelvio and is a march to approach the debut in the World Cup in the giant of Sölden on Saturday 27 October. The same goes for four gigantists in view of the debut in the giant on Sunday 28 but the rally will be much shorter, today and tomorrow in Val Senales. The four are Giulio Bosca, Luca De Aliprandini, Alex Hofer and Riccardo Tonetti led by sector manager Alessandro Serra. Rest of rest for Giovanni Borsotti and Roberto Nani.
Turning to the women's sector of the European Cup, Lucrezia Lorenzi with the head of the sector Heini Pfitscher finishes today the training sessions at Stelvio as the only representative of the technical races but has trained with the girls of the World Cup. On the Swiss glacier of Saas-Fee from tomorrow to next Wednesday will work the girls of the speed Valentina Cillara Rossi, Nadia Delago, Sara Dellantonio, Elena Dolmen, Jole Galli, Marta Giunti, Roberta Melesi, Sofia Pizzato, Teresa Runggaldier and Federica Sosio with the coach Giuseppe Butelli, Daniel Dorigo and the European Cup coordinator Alexander Prosch. The trip to Switzerland will be preceded by tests at the Mapei Center in Olgiate Olona (Va).
