The Austrian slalomgiant was injured today in training: on Friday the return home and the exams in Graz. The sprinter Christoph Krenn was operated on the same day at Wunderteam for a herniated disc.

Stephanie Brunner's season is likely to be over today, with a fall in training in Are that cost the unfortunate (thinking about the knee injuries of recent years) the 27-year-old Tyrolean a ligament problem in her ankle.
No slalom in Sweden, therefore, for the Austrian skier who will return home in a few hours and on Friday she will undergo in-depth examinations, in Graz, to define the extent of the injury. Almost certainly, however, Brunner's season ended prematurely, she who qualified for the finals of the World Cup in giant with the 14th position in the specialty ranking.
At home Austria will stop for three months, before being able to start training again, the sprinter Christoph Krenn operated today in Innsbruck to solve a form of herniated disc in the cervical spine.
