In the Cuneo area, the young players for the Italian GP were protagonists, while Ferk and Yakovishina won the FIS super-gs and Vera Tschurtschenthaler took the slalom in Pozza.

A rain of FIS races on the Italian snow, starting with the women's slalom disputed today in Pozza di Fassa and valid for the Baltic Cup. Some of the best blue specialists were excellent protagonists of a FIS race that saw the win. 'South Tyrolean Vera Tschurtschenthaler, with 3 tenths of a margin on Vivien Insam, 35 cents on the Austrian Herz and with the same Anita Gulli and Serena Viviani just off the podium, respectively in 4th and 6th place.
Two FIS super-gs took place at Passo San Pellegrino, always with the girls protagonists: in the first, a highly experienced athlete such as Marusa Ferk, who dominated the trial valid for the Ski College Veneto Trophy in front, won. to Carlotta Da Canal and Giulia Tintorri. The latter then came close to winning in the second race, second only 3 cents from the Russian Elena Yakovishina, while Ferk finished third and Sara Allemand fourth.
Two days of races valid for the Italian GP, on the other hand, on the snows of Prato Nevoso; in the slalom that opened the program, the Vicenza-based Gabriele Sartori of the Veneto Ski College won the young rankings, ahead of the Piedmontese Corrado Barbera of the Limone Ski College, 18 cents away. Third place for Federico Romele del Val Palot from Brescia who also won the first place reserved for the aspiring ranking, 32 cents behind the head of the ranking, ahead of Gabriele Masneri (Radici AC) and the Piedmontese Edoardo Saracco, respectively in the eighteenth and nineteenth place in the absolute ranking.
The giant instead awarded Lorenzo Bini of Ski Team Cesana in front of Gian Maria Illariuzzi from Abruzzo, third Luca Benetton of Val Palot. Among the aspirants, Stefano Pizzato (Drusciè Cortina) prevailed over the Piedmontese carabiniere Edoardo Saracco and Leonardo Clivio (Golden Team Ceccarelli). The next stage of the circuit is scheduled at Abetone, Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 March with a giant and a slalom.
