Other successes for the blue roller ski arrive at Banska Bystrica: Mortagna and Artusi super among the juniors

Italy is still great in Banska Bystrica, with the anthem of Mameli that resounds twice in Slovakia thanks to the victories in the junior category of Laura Mortagna and Aksel Artusi in the first stage of the World Cup of roller skis. In the senior mass start, which took place on a city track, the test ended in a sprint with the Latvian Raimo Vigants who won in front of the brothers Emanuele and Francesco Becchis, for the first time together on the podium in a test of the maximum circuit . In 6th place came Matteo Tanel. In the women's mass start the success went to the Swedish Linn Soemskar, already winner of the sprint test, second place for the home athlete Alena Prochazkova and third for the Polish Monika Skinder. Great fifth place for Elisa Sordello. The mass start of the juniors, at a female level, saw Laura Mortagna prevail over the Latvian Samantha Krampe and the Slovak Karolina Kaleta. Among the junior males here is the pearl of Aksel Artusi, who beat the Latvian Lauris Kaparkalejs in a sprint, third the Slovakian Jachym Cenek. Among the seniors, the overall cup classification sees Raimo Vigants and Emanuele Becchis leading on equal points, both with 180 points. Today the closing of the stage of Banska Bystrica with the test in classical technique, where Michael Galassi, graduated Italian champion in Bosco Chiesanuova, as well as Luca Curti and Matteo Tanel are expected.
