Azzurri at the World Cup Roller Assault: Thursday in Latvia the start with classic distance for men and women

Everything is ready for Madona for the World Championship event that will end on Sunday with the free technique team sprints.

The world championships in roller skis for seniors and juniors are held in Latvia with 14 Italians in search of medals in the summer event par excellence. Thursday the start with the "distance" races, that is the 20 km men's classic technique, while the women will compete on the 10 km, with the program which then foresees the sprints of 200 meters on Friday, the mass start on Saturday (20 km for men and 15 for women, both in free technique), up to close Sunday with the sprint teams. Alessio Berlanda, Emanuele Becchis, Matteo Tanel, Michele Valerio, Michael Galassi, Luca Curti, Francesco Becchis, Riccardo Lorenzo Masiero, Andrea Gartner, Anna and Lisa Bolzan, Alba and Laura Mortagna and Lucia Scardoni will defend the colors of a national team two senior podiums and three junior level in the World Cup two years ago in Solleftea. In Sweden, Emanuele Becchis, gold in the men's sprint, Anna and Lisa Bolzan with the bronze medal in the women's sprint team went to the medal, while Alba Mortagna made her appearance in the women's sprint jr, Mattia Armellini and Francesco Becchis in the men's sprint team and the same Armellini brought silver at home in the sprint race.
