The three days of the Roller Ski World Cup in the Estonian town of Otepaa opens without podiums for Italy, which included a sprint in free technique to kick off the program. In the senior category the men's success went to the Latvian Raimo Vigants, ahead of the Swede Erik Silfver and the Norwegian Patrick Fossum Kristoffersen, with Emanuele Becchis sixth, Francesco Becchis eighth and Matteo Tanel ninth.
Among the women, the Russian Natalia Nepryaeva prevailed over the Estonian Mariel Merlii Puller and the Slovakian Alena Prochazkova; 23rd Elisa Sordello, the only Italian registered. At the junior level, Laura Mortagna touched the podium in the women's final, finishing fourth behind the Russian Alexandra Kazakova, the Latvian Samanta Krampe and the Ukrainian Anastasiia Kompaniiets, among the men Riccardo Munari twelfth and Giovanni Lorenzetti sixteenth, victory of the Slovakian Jachym Cenek .
On Saturday, the program includes mass starts, on Sunday it closes with tests starting at intervals.
