The free technique Sprints inaugurated the two days of the Cascina Bianca Italian Cup of roller skis in Liguria. In Cicagna (Genoa), the one staged on the street circuit set up in Viale Italia, where Emanuele Becchis and Lisa Bolzan collected their third victory of the season in the discipline, was pure spectacle. Second after qualifying, the champion of the Maritime Alps Entracque was the fastest in the final, crossing the finish line first in front of Michele Valerio (Carisolo), with Matteo Tanel (Robinson Ski Team) third completing the podium. Without rivals Lisa Bolzan (Orsago) who, after dominating the qualifications, also won in the final heat, ahead of her clubmate Sara Tenze and Chiara Agostinetto (Valdobbiadene). Fourth overall, Riccardo Munari (Valdobbiadene) won first place among the Young, ahead of Giovanni Lorenzetti (Carisolo), while Sara Tenze and Chiara Agostinetto occupied the first two squares of the women's ranking. A double from the Comunità Montana among the Children, with Luca Di Gregorio who preceded Mattia Di Gregorio. It was, however, the pair of Ski Nordic Valsassina composed of Maria and Aurora Invernizzi who dominated the female race, with Alessia Callegaro (Valdobbiadene) who finished in third place. Among the Pulcini, first place for Marco Combi (Primaluna), in front of Mattia Combi (Primaluna) and Simone Geronazzo (Valdobbiadene). Finally, among the MBM-MCM Masters victory for Paolo Munari (Valdobbiadene), followed by Armandino Faggio (Valle Pesio) and Guido Masiero (Valdobbiadene). Today the grand finale of the Italian Cup Cascina Bianca with the mass start uphill in classic technique, which will start from Rezzoaglio to climb up to Rocca d''Aveto.
