The 2022/23 season of the Nordic disciplines in Italy: Markus Cramer will lead Pellegrino and his teammates, Hoellrigl will be the new head of a biathlon team that excludes Sanfilippo and Bormolini.

There is no shortage of changes, after another very difficult year, for the Italian national cross-country ski team. It was in the air and, with the official announcement by the FISI regarding the teams that will face next season, here is the landing of Markus Cramer as coach and coordinator of the World Cup group, with Alfred Stauder confirmed as technical director of the entire sector.
The German coach who has already led Federico Pellegrino and Francesco De Fabiani in the Olympic year, prepared in Russia, will therefore work again with the two Aosta Valley athletes who represent the top of the national team made up of 28 athletes. With Pellegrino and De Fabiani, CdM quintet completed by Davide Graz, Giandomenico Salvadori and Paolo Ventura. Female poker, in the top-level team, with Greta Laurent, Lucia Scardoni, Anna Comarella and Caterina Ganz.
Then there is the Milan-Cortina 2026 team, with Fulvio Scola following the men and Renato Pasini for the women's sector: Mikael Abram, Elia Barp, Alessandro Chiocchetti, Martin Coradazzi, Simone Daprà, Michael Hellweger and Simone Mocellini are the men also chosen, seven girls with Martina Bellini, Federica Cassol, Martina Di Centa, Francesca Franchi, Sara Hutter, Nicole Monsorno and Cristina Pittin.
Finally, the five "Observed", who will train with their clubs: they are Michele Gasperi, Francesco Manzoni, Luca Sclisizzo, Giovanni Ticcò and Stefania Corradini.
BIATHLON
The first big news of the blue biathlon national teams concerns the technical director, with Klaus Hoellrigl who takes the place of Fabrizio Curtaz, who has been assigned the task of manager of the Milan-Cortina 2026 project. Alexander Inderst will be the coach of reference of the CdM group, in total there are twenty athletes chosen.
We start with Dorothea Wierer, who just today officially confirmed the continuation of her career for another year: the South Tyrolean champion is part of the elite team with Lukas Hofer, all the other athletes (there are no Federica Sanfilippo and Thomas Bormolini on the list, absences that make noise) were included in the “Milan-Cortina 2026” team. Let's talk about Lisa Vittozzi, Hannah Auchentaller, Michela Carrara, Samuela Comola, Eleonora Fauner, Irene Lardschneider, Rebecca Passler, Beatrice Trabucchi and Linda Zingerle as regards the girls, nine also the men with Didier Bionaz, Tommaso Giacomel, Patrick Braunhofer, Daniele Cappellari , Cedric Christille, Daniele Fauner, Iacopo Leonesio, Michele Molinari and David Zingerle.
COMBINED NORDIC
Technical director Ivo Pertile will lead eleven athletes divided into only two formations.
Team "A" with Raffaele Buzzi male representative and female couple with Annika Sieff, the real point of reference of the entire movement despite her very young age, and Veronica Gianmoena.
In team "B" we find Iacopo Bortolas, Samuel Costa, Aaron Kostner, Domenico Mariotti, Alessandro Pittin, Stefano Radovan, Daniela Dejori and Greta Pinzani.
