Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo once again proved to be the strongest, also in the men's 48 km in classic technique which closed, on Sunday afternoon, the first stage of the Roller Ski World Cup in Boe, in Telemark county. The hosts were unstoppable even in the mass start, with the two Olympic cross-country sprint champion winning again in front of teammates Martin Nyenget and Mikael Gunnulfsen, beaten in the sprint. Truly minimal gaps with 6 tenths to separate Klaebo from the sixth classified and with Norway to occupy all the top ten positions in the standings. The Azzurri lingered with the best of the day, Tommaso Dellagiacoma 26th, followed by Michael Galassi 30th, Matteo Tanel 39th, Riccardo Masiero 46th, Alberto Dalla Via 49th, Stefano Zanotto 50th, Jacopo Giardina 53rd and Michele Valerio 56th. Among the women, the Norwegian Lotta Udnes Weng dominates the competition closing the 25 km of the course in 1h02''03 ”9, beating compatriot Amalie Ous in the sprint as well as the Swedish Linn Soemskar, third. The only Italian in the race was Elisa Sordello, who finished in 16th position. In the men's junior category, another Norwegian hat-trick with Thomas Blom (53''52 ”0 his final time) first ahead of Lars Heggen (+7” 8) and Per Tollehaug (+42 ”0). Fifteenth place for Marco Gaudenzio, twenty-first Aksel Artusi. New podium all of the norge also for the junior girls, with the victory of Milla Andreassen (1h02''58 "9), who left Mabel Amundsen (+ 2''57" 1) and Synne Bollingmo (5 ') clearly behind '04 "2). Anna Maria Ghiddi, decidedly brilliant throughout the race weekend, finished in seventh position. Next appointment with the Roller Ski World Cup from 19 to 21 August in Otepae, Estonia.
