If until a few days ago there was some doubt about Russia's presence in cross-country skiing at the Tour de SKi, following Norway's decision not to compete for the entire month of December, this possibility has not been confirmed by one of the main technicians. of the national team, Yuri Borodvako, who according to the TASS agency said that there will be no change of plans: "The Norwegian decision was in the air. We will continue our season as planned before the start, the boys have a duty to fight and give their all. It will be a shame to compete without strong opponents like the Norwegians, but a competition like the Tour de Ski is always very important. " And on the preparation for the World Cup he adds: "The Tour de Ski is one of the stages of approaching the World Cup in Oberstdorf, we will take part in all the stages of the World Cup, and our duty will always be to try to win". In the meantime, the FIS has taken the decision to postpone the Swedish leg of Ulricheamn, originally scheduled for the weekend of 16/17 January 2021, to 6/7 February 2021, to avoid an additional international trip to the various national teams, since Saturday January 30 and Sunday 31 will always compete in Sweden in Falun, and therefore, the athletes will remain in the same country for two consecutive stages.
