The World Cup ski finals, which end on Sunday in a scenario like that of the Alpe Cermis, have so far led Matteo Tanel to the dream of bringing the crystal ball to Italy for the first time.
The Trentino champion also won the men's mass start on the 15 km in Ziano, ahead of the Russian Anisimov and the other blue Emanuele Becchis; success that means going up to 587 points in the overall, against the 548 of the Norwegian Andresen and the 530 of the Swedish Gustafsson, when it remains to be disputed only the pursuit that will close the Rollerski Trentino Minitour and the Cup, with double scores to assign. The Azzurri also achieved excellent placings with Jacopo Giardina, fifth, with Francesco Becchis 7th and Luca Curti 12th, in addition to Michael Galassi's 15th place.
In the women's field, the Swedish Linn Soemskar once again dominated, ahead of the Slovak Alena Prochazkova and the Russian Svetlana Nikolaeva, with Lisa and Anna Bolzan finishing respectively in 7th and 9th place.
The Italian national team will play the absolute crystal ball on the last day also among the junior girls, with Laura Mortagna fourth in the mass and always leading the general, while her sister Alba won today's race, with Giulia Cozzi excellent seventh. The Swedish Ekberg is unbeatable among the boys, with Gianmarco Gatti excellent 4th and Andrea Gartner 5th.
