Sabrina Borettaz and Matteo Tanel, the roller ski season ends with the triumph in the Italian Cup Cascina Bianca

The two world champions won the final classification of the national circuit: all the results of the last stage which took place in Verrayes.

The 2021 season of the blue roller ski ended yesterday, with the Cascina Bianca Italian Cup, which began in June in Amatrice and Rieti, which experienced the decisive act on an autumn day, under the splendid sun of Verrayes, in the heart of the Aosta Valley. Organization entrusted to the Amis de Verrayes and the symbol of the Aosta Valley society, the new world champion Sabrina Borettaz, won the trophy in the women's field by tandem with Matteo Tanel (Robinson Ski Team), winner of the men's circuit. The last test included a mass start of 5 km for the absolute female and 8 km for the men. Paola Beri (Nordik Ski) won her fourth seasonal race of the circuit, preceding the thirty Elisa Rossato (US Carisolo) and the young Aosta Valley girl of 2004 Virginia Cena (G Godioz): fourth place for Angelica Selva (Nordik Ski), fifth Laura Mortagna (Gs Fiamme Oro) and sixth Borettaz (Amis de Verrayes). In the men's race, a trio found themselves together in the long final straight: Matteo Tanel won ahead of Riccardo Masiero (Sci Club Valdobbiadene) and Luca Curti (Sc Orsago), about half a minute behind Federico Bonino (Godioz), born in 2002 and first Under 20, 5th Giovanni Lorenzetti (Us Carisolo) and 6th Andrè Philippot (Godioz).
