Second blue place with Masiero-Dellagiacoma in the sprint team of CdM, jr at the foot of the podium

Skiroll: second day of competitions in Madona, with trials valid for the junior world championships which saw Ghiddi-Mortagna and Munari-Artusi finishing in fifth place.

Another podium for Italy in roller skis arrives in Madona, in the World Cup stage that today included the sprint teams in the Latvian town. Riccardo Masiero and Tommaso Dellagiacoma are in second place at the senior level, with the two Azzurri just 2 ”9 from Saulitis-Vigants' Latvia and ahead of the Swedes Lindberg-Ekenberg. Fourth place for the second formation of the national team, with Marco Gaudenzio and Gabriele Rigaudo excellent protagonists. The junior race, also valid for the world championships in the category, saw Riccardo Munari and Aksel Artusi finish in fifth place, not too far from the podium formed by Sweden, with the gold medal around Anton Grahn and Malte Jutterdal , from Ukraine in silver with Aksiuta and Lisohor and from Latvia of Paeglis-Kaparkalejs. Placements close to the podium for the blue girls, starting from the fourth of Elisa Sordello and Sabrina Borettaz in the sprint seniors team: Kaidy and Keidy Kaasiku gave another success to Estonia, clearly beating the Swedish Furunaes and Lockner and the Latvian couple formed by Auzina and Volfa. Fifth position instead for Anna Maria Ghiddi, yesterday back on the podium in the first round of Madona, and Laura Mortagna in the junior challenge which was also worth the world title, which went to the hosts Linda Kaparkaleja and Samanta Krampe, able to beat the Swedish Johansson- Goeransson and the Kazakhs Tolmachyova-Geraschenko.
