Blue skiroll, another podium in the cup arrives with Matteo Tanel. Juniors dominate in Slovakia

Matteo Tanel is second in the 10 km uphill of Banska Bystrica, the final race of the three days in Slovakia that opened the World Cup of roller skis. The blue thus gives another podium to Italy, placing himself behind the Swede Erik Silfver for only 2 ”4, and in front of the other Scandinavian Alfred Buskqvist. Good fifth place for Michael Galassi and in any case all the blues finish in the upper parts of the standings: 7th Masiero, 8th Curti, 9th Francesco Becchis, 10th Emanuele Becchis, 11th Valerio, 13th Giardina. Elisa Sordello touches the podium in the women's race, finishing in fourth place after the Swedish Linn Soemskar, the Russian Alena Prochazkova and the Czech Sandra Schuetzova. Ninth place for Anna Bolzan. Blue hat-trick among the juniors, thanks to the victory of Aksel Artusi, who repeats the triumph on Saturday and this time beats his compatriots Riccardo Munari and Giovanni Lorenzetti. And also the blue juniors impose themselves with the new success of Laura Mortagna, ahead of Sabrina Borettaz and the Slovakian Marianna Klementova. In the general classification of CdM, Emanuele Becchis gives the first place to the Latvian Raimo Vigants, who rises to 220 points against 206 of the Piedmontese, while Matteo Tanel is fourth with 146. Among the women Elisa Sordello is fourth with 121 points, far from the 300 of the leader, the Swedish Linn Soemskar. The next round of the World Cup will be staged in Otepaa, Estonia, from 20 to 22 August.
