The Austria women's jump for 2017-18 with only two levels instead of four

The Austrian Ski Federation has announced the composition of the national women's jumping teams in view of the 2017-'18 Olympic season. It's interesting to notice how you decided to create only two levels, well-distinguished, instead of the usual four.

Nothing has changed in the national team, made up of the same athletes who formed it in 2016-17. In the light of the results obtained in the elite of Iraschko-Stolz, Seifriedsberger and Hölzl were at a loss. It was not obvious at all that of Eva Pinkelnig, who had been relieved of a very difficult winter, but was trusted. Behind this quartet you have to step down two steps, as no athlete has gained team A status. Team B instead will consist of six girls, mostly junior. For this reason, it was decided not to even create team C, reserved for juniors. For the third consecutive year, the head coach will be Andreas Felder, assisted by Florian Schabereiter. NAZIONAL SQUADRA HÖLZL Chiara (1997) IRASCHKO-STOLZ Daniela (1983) PINKELNIG Eva (1988) SEIFRIEDSBERGER Jacqueline (1991) TEAM A - SURFACE B EDER Lisa (2001) HUBER Julia (1998) KRAMER Marita (2001) MAIR Sophie (2000) PURKER Claudia (1999) RAUDASCHL Elisabeth (1997) TEAM C -
