In the Olympic race every nation will be entitled to a number of pectoral equal to the number of their athletes entered in the first 30 positions of the QAL. The maximum quota for each country is 4 places, so in the event that a nation has more than four girls in the top-30 of the QAL, any further addition to the four best jumpers will be ignored for the purposes of Olympic qualification.
 PROJECTIONS AND CERTAINTY The seats are not nominal, every athlete wears a bib to their nation, but the technicians will decide who deploy in Sochi. However, knowing the number of qualifying races and the points so far made by each jumper you can make a projection on the points needed to occupy one of the top 30 positions of the QAL and consequently determine which girls have in fact already won a place for their federation and what pecs are instead still in the balance.

QUOTA FOR COUNTRY In light of the foregoing, it can be said that 21 of the 30 numbers for the Olympic competition are de facto already assigned as follows

Germany also is close to the maximum contingent as the score from the third and fourth German should be sufficient to allow them to be among the top thirty January 19, 2014, the day when the QAL will become final.
