Sarah Hendrickson has spoken publicly for the first time by the terrible injury suffered on 21 August and had proved not to have lost hope of being able to be in the game at the Olympics.

The nineteen year old American has written a blog post "Countdown to Olympics" on the website of ESPN where he explained that "after talking with my physical therapist, my doctor and other members of the team to which they are followed, I decided to make public my goal: I want to compete at the Olympic Games in Sochi.'re all professionals and they assured me that it is an achievable goal.
