Bischofshofen is the 'only place in Vierschanzentournee never to have changed its nell''ordine placement of the stages. Therefore it will be the 'final event of the event for the sixty-fifth time in as many editions.

The Italian podium carries the signature of Roberto Cecon, placed second 6 January 1995 behind dell''austriaco Andreas Goldberger and ahead of Germany's Dieter Thoma.
