Germany triumphs in Lahti's Team Event

First seasonal affirmation for the German quartet, today formed by Karl Geiger, Markus Eisenbichler, Richard Freitag and Andreas Wellinger that has prevailed over Poland and Norway.

A result that certainly does not come as a surprise, especially after what was seen in yesterday's qualifying. In fact, Germany has been able to count, as well as on Wellinger and Freitag, two of the top five jumpers of the circuit, also on Geiger and Eisenbichler, definitely at ease on this system. In particular, these two, winning a rotation each, have dug the furrow towards the direct opponents. In the end Poland, in the race with Maciej Kot, Stefan Hula, Dawid Kubacki and Kamil Stoch, the same quartet deployed in Pyeongchang, paid 11.3 points. As happened at the Olympic Games, the Poles had to bow to the Germans, but both nations have climbed forward one position, as Norway did not go beyond the third position. Andreas Stjernen, Daniel Andre Tande, Johann Andre Forfang and Robert Johansson stopped at 1082.6 points, ahead of only eight points ahead of Austria 4a. The best among the Scandinavians was undoubtedly Forfang, winner of both rotations in which he was engaged, but also Stjernen and Johansson have done theirs. Tande, 10th in his first rotation, was the one who disappointed the wait more. Fifth final place for Japan, sixth for Slovenia, seventh for Switzerland and eighth for Russia. Finland 9a, Italy 10th, United States 11th and Kazakhstan 12th did not have access to the second series.
