In today's late afternoon on the Large Hill of the Finnish resort, the qualification for the race on Sunday was staged, but tomorrow a Team Event will take place.

As many as 73 athletes were presented in the starting line, representing 15 nations. The top positions were monopolized by Poland and Germany, which occupied six of the first seven places. The best score and the best measure were made by Kamil Stoch, unique along with compatriot Kubacki, at the end of the second, able to overcome the HS point, set at 130 m. The two landed respectively at 134.5 m and 130.5 m and closed separated by 3.8 points. Behind them were the Germans Eisenbichler, third to 3.3 lengths from Kubacki, Leyhe 4th and Geiger 5th, all arrived in the area 128 m.
Fair proof for Stefan Kraft who finished 6th, ahead of Wellinger 7th, Stjernen 8th, Kot 9th and Bartol 10th. On the other hand, the other Norge, Johansson 11th, Forfang 12th and Tande even 32th, as well as Richard Freitag, finished at the end of the 15th.
The only Italian able to break the pass for Sunday's race was Alex Insam 33rd, while Colloredo 51th, Bresadola 54th and Dellasega 67th were eliminated. Weight names such as Anze Semenic 52nd, Anders Fannemel 53rd and Noriaki Kasai 56th were also out of the 50s.
Tomorrow at 16:30 Italian time will start the first series of Team Event, Sunday is scheduled for individual competition.
