A blue will take on the role of new referee for the men's jumping World Cup, starting from the 2021/2022 season.
At 66, Walter Hofer will leave his post at the end of the 2020/2021 vintage, but to support the historic German director in the next two seasons, it will be Sandro Pertile himself who will then inherit the assignment in all respects. .
Pertile is one of the most respected technical delegates in the environment and beyond, sports director of the Nordic sector in FISI and thinking about the activity carried out for the world championships in Val di Fiemme in 2003 and 2013, but also in the Games of Turin 2006 and recently for the stage of the Tour of Italy hosted by Anterselva. "It is an honor and a great challenge to inherit the role that Walter Hofer has played in doing a great job - Pertile's first words - I have learned a lot from him for the last 20 years and I look forward to working with him and the FIS to do my best so that the ski jump remains at the highest possible level ".
SUMMER GRAND PRIX
The FIS has also formalized the calendar for the Summer Grand Prix, the summer circuit that will propose the first two races of Wisla as the first event for the 2019 vintage (the first in teams, the second individual), on the weekend of 20- 21 July. There will be 10 competitions, in addition to a mixed one in the second weekend in Hinterzarten and three female, divided between the same German town, Courchevel and Frenstat. The men will then close in Zakopane, Hakuba, Hinzenbach and, on October 5, with the Klingenthal appointment.
