Worst fears about Kenneth Gangnes were confirmed. The Norwegian jumper, fell yesterday in training in Stams, you & egrave; broke the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

The twenty-seven Scandinavian & egrave; gi & agrave; was operated in the Innsbruck clinic by Professor Fink and Christian sources of the federation they have described "failed" the 'intervention.
At least the left knee had not suffered injuries unlike the right, literally battered by three injuries of the cruciate ligaments.
However there is a clear long stop for Gangnes, that last winter he finished third in the overall standings of the World Cup and the Tourn & eacute; and the Four Hills, also winning the 'silver medal at the World Championships flight.
At the moment the recovery time is uncertain, but this type of injury usually requires 6-8 months of convalescence. In other words, the performance - if not the very presence - to Gangnes in the season 2016 - '' 17 are at risk.
