Recall that in jumping male contingents from every nation in the maximum circuit are calculated based on the World Ranking List, which is a ranking in which they are all results of the World Cup and the Summer Grand Prix obtained nell''ultimo calendar year.
At the end of each period the new results supersede those of the same time of the year previous and quotas are recalculated.
With certain exceptions due to national quotas and the presence of the team event, each nation has a right to a share based on 2 athletes.
Have 1 athlete in the first 55 positions of the WRL means to increase its quota to 3 units & agrave ;.
Have between 2 and 4 athletes in the first 55 positions of the WRL d & agrave; entitled to a quota of 4 units & agrave ;.
Have 5 athletes in the first 55 positions of the WRL brings the nation's contingent to 5 units & agrave ;.
Make 6 or more & ugrave; athletes in the first 55 positions of the WRL allows to reach the maximum quota of 6 units & agrave ;.
In addition, three pectoral (one per country) are assigned on the basis of the results of Continental Cup races in the period just preceding the one in question. Taking into consideration only the best athlete from every nation, the pectoral additional 3 are assigned to countries belonging to the 3 jumpers scoring & more ugrave; points.
These are the quotas for the races of the World Cup Klingenthal (November 23), Kuusamo (28 and 29 November), Lillehammer (December 6 and 7), Nizhny Tagil (13 and 14 December), Engelberg (20 and December 21) .
