Bischofshofen & egrave; the 'only resort & agrave; Vierschanzentournee of which has never changed its position nell''ordine milestones and sar & agrave; then the 'final event of the event for the sixty-third time in as many editions.

In truth & agrave; The fourth edition (1955-1956) not termin & ograve; Bischofshofen, forced to raise the white flag for lack of snow, but in Hallein (resort & agrave; placed thirty kilometers to the north). Historically you race on Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in dell''Epifania day. The trampoline & egrave; named Paul Ausserleitner, local athlete (considered one of the pioneers of the jump nell''immediato Austrian post-war) tragically perished in 1952 after a fall suffered in training at this facility.
The trampoline has very special characteristics as non & egrave; equipped with a large slope and to provide the correct speed & agrave; the athletes' InRun Home & egrave; unusually long, cos & Igrave; as the area substantially flat in proximity & agrave; of the tooth. Consequently for jumpers & egrave; very complicated to find the right timing to flake off.
In 22 occasions (37.1%) who & egrave; imposed in Salzburg you & egrave; then won success in Tourn & egrave; and, while in 40 cases (66.1%) cases the final victory & egrave; went to an athlete on the podium. This means that Bischofshofen & egrave; the stage where the winner has the pi & ugrave; low percentage of success in the overall standings of Tourn & eacute; e.
So far 47 different jumpers representing only 9 different countries (including the dead Czechoslovakia and East Germany) received at least one success in Bischofshofen.
The Czech Jiri Raska (1968, 1969, 1970), the Norwegian Bj & oslash; rn Wirkola (1965, 1967, 1972), the German Jens Wei & szlig; flog (1983, 1984, 1996) and Finland's Janne Ahonen (2006, both races 2008) have won three wins apiece. Raska & egrave; then the only one to boast a-row of three consecutive statements.
6 men are able to repeat a success. It is of Austrian Andreas Goldberger, Andreas widh & ouml; LZL, Thomas Morgenstern and Gregor Schlierenzauer; as well as & eacute; German Helmut Recknagel and Sven Hannawald.
The 'Austria & egrave; clearly the country with the most wins (22). Below are listed in detail the victories of every nation.

In seven occasions the same nation & egrave; managed to achieve two goals by placing two athletes in the first two positions. In only one case & egrave; been monopolized l & rsquo; entire podium: On January 6, 1960 dall''Austria hostess when Albin Planck preceded Leodolter Otto and Willi Egger.

Germany, Czechoslovakia and Austria hold a height of 3, the record for consecutive wins. Moreover strip Austrian & egrave; still open (Morgenstern 2012, Schlierenzauer 2013 Diethart 2014), therefore in case of success would set a new record.

So far 110 different jumpers representing 20 different countries (including the dead Czechoslovakia, East Germany, West Germany, the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia), have risen at least once on the podium.
Finland's Janne Ahonen dominates the ranking individual podiums with 10. The Czech Jiri Raska, the Norwegian Bj & oslash; rn Wirkola and the 'Austrian Thomas Morgenstern are the pursuers pi & ugrave; immediate, but lie at an altitude of 6.

The podium is signed by Italian Roberto Cecon, placed second January 6, 1995 behind dell''austriaco Andreas Goldberger and ahead of Germany's Dieter Thoma.
