Qualification for Sunday's race is scheduled for tomorrow at 18:00 (first series at 16:00), while on Saturday there will be the third team test of the season.
Home matches therefore for the Polish team, or rather what remains of them. In a black season for the red and white, after the rain comes the hail. Kamil Stoch, Dawid Kubacki and Paweł Wąsek will be absent in Zakopane. The last two were found positive for Covid-19 in the latest tests carried out and will not take part in the stage. The outcome of Wolny's swab is also uncertain, which could only be given the go-ahead tomorrow.
Neither will Stoch, who recovered from an ankle injury on Wednesday, during the warm-up phase. The Olympic champion on large hill in Pyeongchang had left the Tour of the four hills early after some negative jumps, also deserting the subsequent races in Bischofshofen, for a training period in view of Beijing. But now the unexpected has arrived, due to an accident that took place "far" from the springboard, which from what is rumored in Poland could keep him away from training and competitions for 2-3 weeks.
