Ola Vigen Hattestad set the best time in the men's sprint qualifying of Sochi, well Pilgrim, Wenzl out.

After the victory of Dobbiaco, which forced the Norwegian selector to include it in today's quartet at the expense of Krogh, Hattestad proves to be in great condition dominating the qualifiers. The Norwegian is a record time of 3:28:35, almost two seconds ahead of Sergey Ustiugov and our Federico Pellegrino, despite a brilliant third path theoretically ill-suited to its characteristics.
