Italy’s natural track luge stars back in Lana: from the Lambachers to Mittermair, 13 called up

Technical director Leander Moroder has called up 13 athletes to the national natural track luge team, which will once again be in Lana for a full day of training this Wednesday, 2 September.

Daniel Gruber, Matthias Lambacher, Peter Lambacher, Alex Oberhofer, Mathias Troger, Hannes Unterholzner, Andreas Hofer, Tobias Paur, Daniela Mittermair, Lotte Mulser, Nadine Staffler, Tina Stuffer and Nina Castiglioni are all present—in effect, the best of the Italian squad as it approaches the new season. There are still three and a half months to go before the start of the World Cup, with the opening round scheduled for 19–20 December in Austria, on the Obdach-Winterleiten track.
