Valuable tips for the snow blower

The snow plow is made to control speed and in particular when you find harder snow it is very important to know how to activate your feet so as to continuously "scratch" the snow while you push the tails of the skis away from each other, pushing your heels out.

You can practice opening and closing the queues repeatedly in order to get the maximum confidence with this gesture which guarantees you to adjust the speed to your liking and therefore to feel safe. Now, while scratching with both skis, continuing to push out the heels to keep the tails open and braking, simply try to "work the muscles" on the right side, with the right foot and right thigh. At the same time, relax your left thigh, keep your left foot light and your left leg flexed as if you were keeping your left foot lightly on the top step. You will find that, without any effort you will have made a nice curve to the left. It is important to do exactly what is suggested above without absolutely giving the body rotations in the direction of the curve, as they would prevent us from leaning well on the ski "outside" the curve. The problem for beginners is usually this: the idea of wanting to turn leads instinctively to "rotate" the head, shoulders and pelvis in the desired direction, but this is not the right system, the skis do not turn ... they fit together stubborn and do not go where you want. As already mentioned, it is enough to lean on and give strength to one side (we have given the example of the right) while relaxing the other and that's it. So learn to listen to your muscles and manage their tensions! Important advice to easily switch from one bend to another, relax your muscles and bring your chest and shoulders decisively forward, you will see that the skis will start towards the descent; no anxiety now, but with clarity think about continually and gently pushing the tails out and ask your feet to actively scratch the snow (scratching noise must come out from under your feet!). When you arrive with your chest in the full direction of the descent, lean on the external leg at the new curve (before it was the right, now it will be the left ...) and do as if you were going down a ladder going to rest your chest and shoulders "on" left foot that decides how hard to continue scratching the snow. The right foot let it light two steps higher. If you have any questions about this exercise, please contact: https: //jam.it/contatti/
