In South Tyrol, in addition to the five traditional markets of Bolzano, Merano, Bressanone, Vipiteno and Brunico there are still many others to visit and where you can relive the Christmas of the past.

Even more beautiful would be to experience this magical experience in one of the farms Gallo Rosso. In fact there are many farms that are just a step away from the less crowded Christmas markets such as Lake Carezza or Lake Braies where there are 20 local artisans, ensemble of wind instruments and where you can take a trip in a drawn carriage from horses.
At the Enzian hut, in the middle of the Stelvio Natural Park, the highest Christmas market in the Alps takes place. Moving through the Val Sarentino you can stroll among stalls selling local specialties.

In winter the farmers have plenty of time for their guests: they show them the peasant customs, prepare biscuits and bread with the children and accompany them in particularly beautiful destinations. The children in the stable help to feed the animals, they slide down the hill in front of the farm and build giant snowmen, while the parents have some time to read a book, wrapped in a blanket or relax in the area wellbeing of the farm.
