Tour du grand Paradis
Getting ready for the VI th edition of the GRAND TOUR DU PARADIS, competition founded in 2004 with the intention of making a ski mountaineering race in unique surroundings, the Gran Paradiso massif in 4061 metridi share, in the heart of the National Park of Gran Paradise.

Today, the Tour du Grand Paradis - TROPHY is RENATO CHABOD- a national race Top Class long distance with a vertical drop of over 2000 meters. tour organizers are preparing the race course at its best, including a bivouac at 3700 meters above sea level, which will be a fundamental element in case of emergency and to guarantee safety of the athletes.
 The starting point is planned in the area Pravieux Pessey at 8 am on Sunday, April 13.
The start involves a departure on foot with skis on the backpack, so as the arrival.
 Registration will close the achievement of the 150 registered teams. 
The event for the preparation of the course and for the'' care of the athletes in the race with the collaboration of'' Gran Paradiso National Park Authority, the Guardia di Finanza Entreves and Cervinia, the Forestry Department of Valle d'' Aosta, Alpine guides and numerous volunteers of the ski club Valsavarenche. In addition, the financial support of the'' National Park Authority, the Fondation, the Community Montana Grand Paradis, the Region of Valle d'' Aosta and numerous private, provide vital resources to the Organizing Committee for the conduct of the race.
This important event is the end of the season also an opportunity to pay tribute and remember an important character VALSAVARENCHE, Renato Chabod, which is was one of the most important climbers of the past, shining with its businesses between 1929 and 1935, in addition to being the President of the National Consortium Guides and Porters CAI CAI President, Chairman of CAAI and Senator Valle d'' Aosta and Vice-President of the Senate.
