Dolomiti Superski, agreement signed with the Consumer Protection Center for the 2019/2020 season skipasses

On 2 March, a meeting was held between the South Tyrol User Consumer Protection Center and the Federconsorzi Dolomiti Superski, during which the measures envisaged in favor of seasonal ski pass holders, affected by the early closure of the winter season, were discussed in particular. 2019/20 and imposed by the authorities due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The meeting, which was attended by the Director of the Consumer Protection Center for Users, Gunde Bauhofer, and the Director of Dolomiti Superski, Thomas Mussner, made it possible to reach a shared solution for 2019/20 Dolomiti Superski seasonal ski pass holders. As an alternative to the measures in favor of 2019/20 season ski pass holders already communicated, a further choice option has been developed: users who have not already taken advantage of the measures proposed previously, will be able to withdraw without any additional charge starting from the next 10 March 2022, a seasonal ski pass of the same type purchased at the time, valid for the remainder of the winter season. Naturally, it will also be possible to postpone the use of this benefit to the next winter season 2022/23. In this case, the seasonal ski pass of the same type - Dolomiti Superski or Valle - valid until the end of the relevant winter season, can be collected starting from 10 March 2023. In any case, the benefits already offered for the winter season 2021/22 will also remain valid for holders of ski passes valid for the 2019/20 season and if users have not already used them. These benefits are now also extended to the 2022/23 season. Director Gunde Bauhofer thanked Dolomiti Superski for their willingness to consumers, who will thus be able to recover what they had not been able to use in the year of the pandemic. The President of the Federconsorzi Dolomiti Superski Andy Varallo, in turn, thanks the Consumer Protection Center for the constructive dialogues and comparisons that made it possible to elaborate the shared solution. "In this way - concludes President Varallo - a long story that began with the early closure of the ski lifts in March 2020 ends and we can finally look to the future with renewed optimism".

Argentera

Argentera
