Sardinia, Bruncu Spina chairlift ready for the next winter season

The chairlift was built two years ago, but it never came into operation for various reasons and unpleasant episodes such as the vandalism of last winter in which some seats of the plant were destroyed.

The chairlift of the Bruncu Spina ski area will be ready for the next winter season. 5 million euros were funded for the modernization of the ski lift and, in addition, the Region has allocated one million euros for the access road to the area. "The Bruncu Spina represents the only ski area in Sardinia and as such should be valued so that it acts more and more as an attraction - explains the Councilor for Public Works, Roberto Frongia - The Region is ready to accompany the municipal administration of Fonni in the process of requalification of the works that can act as a driving force for winter tourism by providing, in addition to the necessary resources, the skills of the technical offices ". The redevelopment of the Monte Spada “Sporting club” is also planned, which will no longer be a hotel. It will be the Municipality to identify the new intended use.

Argentera

Argentera
