Nauders enters the Ortler Skiarena

Nauders, the small Austrian town of Val Venosta, became part of the Ortler Skiarena, becoming the 16th ski resort to join the South Tyrol consortium.

With a single ski pass you can ski on over 400 km of ski slopes, 16 ski resorts divided between South Tyrol, Switzerland and Austria. Already in the past, Nauders was part of this network but in the mid-1990s it had to divide for various reasons including the different currency that created problems in pricing policies. "More and more fans of winter sports appreciate being able to choose to ski between different areas, especially at weekends," said the chairman of Ortler Skiarena, Erich Pfeifer. The number of skipasss sold to locals increases year by year. Last season 9,000 ski passes were released, which means an increase of 9% over the winter season 2015/2016. " The season at the Ortler Skiarena will begin as early as October 28 on the glaciers and will end on 6 May 2018. From October 21st, it will be possible to buy the seasonal ski pass with a 10% discount. Children up to 8 years of age can also ski for free if accompanied by a paying parent. Almost 500 free ski passes were issued to the younger ones in the past few seasons. Argentera

Argentera
