Chancellor Sebastian Kurz announced earlier today, with Austria coming to a halt just as we move towards the winter season. And with all the major resorts already in full swing, they will have to immediately close the ski lifts to the public in Soelden, Pitztal, on the Dachstein and Moelltaler glaciers, but also in Kaprun, Hintertux, Kaunertal and Stubai. Competitors are an exception and the World Cup stage scheduled in Lech / Zuers on 13-14 November has been confirmed, at least for now, when the Alpine Ski World Cup will resume four weeks after the opening in Soelden.
Obviously behind closed doors, with the female parallel on Friday and the male one 24 hours later.
