Christof Innerhofer: "I feel better. The Slalom Giant will become my third discipline"

Smiling, cheerful, positive and outgoing. Wanted by all, caught the imagination of Italians during the last 2011 World Cup in Garmisch won, taking home three medals: one gold, one silver and one bronze. Christof Innerhofer, twenty-six of Gais, a small town near Bruneck, told the Neveitalia expectations from the new season is starting with the addition of some curiosity about his private life.

You fell during a workout Stubai reporting a head injury and trauma. How do you feel?
I feel better although I still have some 'headache. Do not know when I'll start training, I see it every day. But I hope to be able to start Sunday for Canada with the rest of the team.

Do you see race in Lake Louise?
At 95% I'll be there, but of course these days I'll see if I still have pains in the head and if there are any physical conditions to be there.

Three medals around his neck, super-G gold, silver and bronze in the super combined downhill. The Italians all point at you, you feel pressure on myself?
No not at all. I am an athlete that can be more calm and peaceful for everyone. With the company I made the World Championships in Garmisch 2011 I think the future is waiting for me with open arms because I have three medals around his neck and right now everything is fine: the material, the relationship with the technicians, the training time of this 'summer confirmed my form.Think you can fight for one of two cups of specialty, super G and downhill? If we look at the results of last year I should say yes because I was always ahead in the tests. I prefer to watch the results race by race and not think even now a possible cup. For me the important thing is health.

Last year you came second in the overall super. This is the last year which will be played this sport, not so much loved by the public, you think you can have your say?
This year I will focus more on the giant because, precisely because of the absence of supercomibinate next season, will become the My third discipline. Surely they are one of the most competitive athletes in the slalom and downhill, there are few that really they're doing fairly in both disciplines. Last year I was very consistent, but was ahead of Kostelic, had won the first three races in a row. The goal is to get on the podium in the super combined, however, will focus more on other races.

What are your hobbies in your spare time?
I like to go fishing, alpine skiing, go looking for mushrooms, go out with my friends and occasionally meet with a friend ...

What features should have a woman to conquer?
I need a woman who manages to get in line, a woman who did not go well all, a mature woman.

So, now that you're a champion sought by all the media and host numerous events, there is room for love?
No, there is little space. I have not found the right woman, so when I do not have time for the important stories, but I have no time for flirting.

Lindsey Vonn, Julia Mancuso and Tina Maze. They are among the finest athletes of the White Circus. Who would you choose?
Tina Maze,
but I think there are even more beautiful athletes as the Swedish Frida Hansdotter. In our team find such cute Curtoni Irene, but we do not do jealous Davide Simoncelli. (Laughs)
