Julien Lizeroux absent in the 2011/2012 season

The trans slalom specialist, Julien Lizeroux, announced on its website that it will be tight between the posts in this 2011/2012 season because of his knee problems in February that forced him to stop without participating in the World Championships in Garmisch Partenchirchen :

"After two months of rest I supported an MRI on April 13 that showed a lesion in the quadriceps tendon (near the knee cap). I did therapy in May to try to avoid'intervento surgical Monday I redid the resonance that unfortunately did not show progress. After a visit to the orthopedic center Paul Santy, we decided to proceed with the'operazione all''ospedale Monday, June 20 in Lyon Mermoz. During'operazione will be reattached to the patella tendon, the rehabilitation will be long, two months on crutches two months of re-education 'soft' and only after 4 months I will resume training. Hopefully I can resume racing'attività in 7 months. D''accordo with medical staff and my coaches, I decided to skip the'intera next season. My goal is to get back into shape without too much pain during the next winter to put the skis steady and then resume pre-season. Knowing that during the rehabilitation rarely goes as planned all prefer not to plan too ambitious ... I hope to be back in 2012/2013 competitive ... "

Lizeroux Good luck!
