Reached only fifth in the first round with a lead of 74 cents by Tanja Poutiainen, the Austrian recovered in the second round all positions useful to return to the top of the standings. Marlies wins sixth win of the season so the 94 cents ahead of Sweden's Frida Hansdotter 1'19 and team mate Kathrin Zettel.

Come ha comunicato questa sera la FISI, la fuoriclasse bergamasca ha concluso anticipatamente il camp sudamericano a causa di un malore durante la sua permanenza a Ushuaia e d'accordo con il dottor Panzeri ha deciso di tornare a casa.
