The new plastic track of the Nevesole plant in Aurisina, located just a few kilometers from Trieste, was officially inaugurated last Sunday.

The management structure of the Sci Club 70 Trieste has opened its doors again on the occasion of the fifth edition of Scia con le Stelle, an event that has allowed hundreds of families and children to get closer to alpine skiing and cross country skiing free of charge one hour collective ski course and equipment rental.
Daniela Merighetti, ex-athlete of the Italian national team of alpine skiing, took part in the inauguration ceremony and is now the permanent presence of the event marking the opening of the ski courses promoted by the Ski Club 70, and the snowboarder Michele Godino resident in Gorizia a few kilometers from the plastic trail.
The restructuring mainly concerned the replacement of the old brushes of both the downhill and the cross-country tracks with the intruduction of decidedly more durable new generation brushes and the widening of the downhill slope with the creation of a variant .
The restyling financed by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region allowed the Nevesole plant to officially become the FISI National Center for approaching winter sports. This has been possible thanks to the continuous collaboration with the Italian Winter Sports Federation and the regional CONI which considered the position of the Carsolino plant to be strategic, located close to a city like Trieste and a few kilometers from the Isonzo and Slovenia.
The councilor for tourism of the Municipality of Duino Aurisina Massimo Romita, the president of the regional FISI, Maurizio Dunnhofer, accompanied by the councilor Luigi Popovic, the national federal councilor Enzo Sima, the regional president of CONI Giorgio Brandolin (together to the delegate of Trieste Ernesto Mari), the president of the Ski club 70 Roberto Andreassich, the past president Livio Manzin and the president of the ASD Le Stelle, Giulia Pignolo.
