Mammut, leader in the field of mountain safety, is launching a three-episode event series dedicated to avalanches. The aim is to sensitize snow enthusiasts towards the adoption of safety measures to experience the mountains in peace and awareness in the future.

Each avalanche is a life lesson and does not grant second chances to anyone. The protagonists of this series are well aware of this and through a powerful and sincere storytelling they reveal the intimate details of their incidents. They tell of how seemingly perfect days can turn into a nightmare at high altitude.
In the first episode (released December 16, 2021) two freeriders, Forrest and Lake Schorderet, excited by the return of snow after two months in the Swiss Alps, miscalculate and Lake ends up completely buried in an avalanche.
The stories of the survivors of the series want to empower the most passionate freeriders and urge them to pick up on all the signs of danger and instability that the mountain launches but which man very often ignores.
The mountain teaches us that every single decision counts and that every catastrophe brings with it a lesson. As the protagonists demonstrate, training on how to behave in case of danger can save our lives and that of others. But how do we know if we have made the right decision when something goes wrong? Mammut answers the question with an Onile Workshop on snow safety and with this revealing series.
In the mountains, today's safety training is life tomorrow.
