Borno Ski Area
If Lombardy remains the yellow zone, skiing will be back on February 15th. The ski resorts are working these days to ensure maximum safety and avoid crowds.

The President of the Region, Attilio Fontana, signed the ordinance on the opening of the lifts: in each ski resort the maximum number of daily presences cannot exceed 30% of the total hourly capacity of all the ski lifts, while for the ski resorts ski resorts that have no more than two lifts, the maximum number of daily admissions is determined at 50% of the total hourly capacity. The calculation of daily admissions is defined by the sum of the daily, multi-day and weekly skipasses.
For the use of the facilities, the ski areas must also comply with the health protocol approved by the CTS: for chairlifts, maximum capacity of 100% of the vehicle capacity (50% if the chairlifts are used with the dome lowered); for gondola lifts and cable cars increased to 50% of the maximum vehicle capacity.
Let's find out together what are the rules that some resorts have decided to adopt for the start of this new mini winter season:
Livigno: On the lifts it will be possible to go up to 50% of the seats. If a chairlift is for 8 people, 4 will go up even if they belong to the same family. To avoid queuing at the ski pass counters, it is strongly recommended to buy the ski pass online. The ski pass can be purchased up to 7 days in advance and can be collected from the ski lifts points of sale, directly at the hotel if equipped with a ticketing pickup point system or at the automatic cash desks. The ski pass can also be purchased on the MyPass Ski, Snowit and Telepass Pay platforms. The ski pass can be purchased at the ticket offices where routes will be created that will guarantee social distancing of at least 1 meter.
Pontedilegno-Tonale: from February 15th it will be possible to ski on the Lombard side (Temù, Ponte di Legno, Passo Tonale up to the Vittoria chairlift and the Paradiso slope). Since there is a need to limit the number of skiers on the slopes, it is preferable to purchase the ski pass online before arrival. On the site of the station you can check, day by day, if there are still ski passes available. The ski pass purchased online can be loaded directly onto the Snowit Card in order to have direct access to the ski lifts. The district also has a collaboration with Telepass Pay which provides cards with a ski pass function to directly access the ski lifts without going through the ticket office. It will be possible to purchase daily skipasses, skipasses from 2 to 14 consecutive days and coupons for 10, 15 and 20 non-consecutive days. The ticket offices will be open to provide assistance, delivery of ski passes purchased online and not delivered to the home and sale of ski passes for holders of SIT coupons. The area has developed a computer system that allows you to know in real time the extent of the influx in the various areas of our ski area to help you choose the less crowded areas. The chairlifts will travel with a maximum capacity of 100% of the capacity with the mandatory use of a surgical mask. The screen domes, where present, cannot be used and must be kept up all the way.
Colere ski area: Only daily ski passes will be sold and can be purchased through the "skipass cloud" platform on the ski area website. The purchase of the ticket will be possible only on the day of use.
Piani di Bobbio: It will be possible to buy only daily ski passes both online, through the application, and at the ticket offices or in the automatic cash machines. With the app, you can also purchase a parking space near the Barzio cable car and equipment rental.
Borno ski area: the sale of online ski passes has been enhanced. No other tickets will be sold other than the daily ones (apart from those of the presale) to have maximum control over attendance, the maximum limit of which has been reduced, compared to what is allowed, by choice.
Valchiavenna ski area: It will be possible to buy the ski pass both online on the ski area website and at the ticket offices. To access the online service, you must register and activate your personal profile.
Aprica: Online purchase of ski passes on the skiperformance, snowitexperience and mypass platforms is highly recommended.
Valmalenco ski area: the San Giuseppe car park, at the start of the chairlift, has been extended in order to make access to the slopes easier. Guided routes have been set up to access ticket offices and facilities safely. To avoid waiting it is possible to buy online the voucher for skiing to be transformed into a ski pass at the cash desks, avoiding waiting thanks to a preferential lane. For safety reasons, this year the shuttle bus service from the parking lot to the ticket offices is suspended. The station joins Qode, an application that allows you to put yourself in a virtual queue and wait for your turn away from the cash desks or entrances, thus avoiding crowds.
