Dynafit scores a double of the Gold Awards at ISPO2020

The company, part of the Oberalp Group of Bolzano, a reference in mountain endurance sports, obtained the Gold Awards of the German event with the Blacklight Pro ski and its versatile Superlite 150 binding.

Pioneer of innovation in the field of ski mountaineering, courageous and always ready to take new paths in search of progress, Dynafit has made speed its DNA, so much so that it was the first to give life to the category of Speed Touring in ski mountaineering. Today with the Blacklight Pro ski and the combined Superlite 150 binding two extraordinary products take to the track that will allow you to move around the mountains even faster and lighter. The new Blacklight Pro is awarded the much coveted Gold Award that the Ispo 2020 jury assigns to the best product in a category for the Winter sports / Ski touring segment. The ski mounts the PIN-SKIN system and is characterized by the captivating total black screen printing; created specifically for advanced ski mountaineers, it represents the lightest model in its category, with a central width of 80 mm and a minimum weight of 900 grams, Dynafit Blacklight Pro is the ideal ski for those who aim to reach very high, in speed, thanks also to its light Race Core soul in Paulownia and an ultralight carbon construction. The strength of the ski is the fixing of the skins: thanks to the new PIN-SKIN system these are no longer anchored to the end of the rod but attached directly to the ski by means of a small pin with its insert. This system not only saves time in the application and obtains a perfect interaction between skis and skins but also saves unnecessary weight, an element that becomes essential on rough terrain. "With the PIN-SKIN system you have a well-cut skin and the right length that, thanks to a small integrated pin and its insert, is fastened so as not to detach anymore" says Andreas (Black) Weiss, freelancer marketing consultant and among the judges of the ISPO jury ". The second ISPO Award in the Winter sports / Ski touring / bindings segment was awarded the Superlite 150, offered in combination with the ultra-light Blacklight Pro ski and the whole new range of the homonymous skis. A binding made entirely of aluminum which, thanks to the weight of only 150 grams and the DIN values adjustable from 4 to 13, will become the new benchmark for ski mountaineers sensitive to uphill speed, with excellent descent performance, giving the model a position unique on the market, making it a reliable and safe product, characterized by a better transmission of energy to the ski, not only for ski touring enthusiasts but also for those who love to tackle descents aggressively. Taking inspiration from competitive ski mountaineering, the designers aimed to significantly reduce weight compared to previous models, without neglecting the versatile use, safety and longevity of the product. In addition to the lateral detachment, the front detachment can also be adjusted to the individual needs of the skier with the help of an optional 8 DIN release spring. Superlite 150 is compatible with rampant and supports the assembly of both the skistopper and the relative adjustment plate, both optional for maximum customization of the set. If used without a skistopper, the heel can be adjusted to four different heights, while with the skistopper to two. Like all the other Dynafit bindings, Superlite 150 is made entirely in Germany and is guaranteed for life. With these two prestigious awards Dynafit reaffirms its role as trendsetter in the world of ski mountaineering by setting new standards in terms of speed and lightness in the climbs of the next winter season.
