This territory will be able to focus even more strongly and decisively on sports tourism, with enthusiasts and amateurs who will be able to assist and train with athletes preparing for the Olympics or World Championships ". The qualification of Olympic Preparation Center is recognized by Coni to those structures that meet the quality standards required by the Federations and will transform one of the largest sports facilities, already used for the rallies and stages of various Italian national teams, into a point of reference for high-altitude training for athletes and joins the Coni Centers of Acqua Acetosa, Formia and Tirrenia. AGREEMENT FISI-ANTERSELVA In the last few hours, in the meantime, the president of the FISI, Flavio Roda, and the general secretary Loretta Piroia met the Organizing Committee of Anterselva in the Milan office in via Piranesi, represented on the occasion by number 1 Lorenz Leitgeb, by the general secretary Erika Pallhuber and the press office manager Alex Tabarelli. The meeting laid the foundations for the renewal of an effective collaboration that has existed for many years between the Organizing Committee and the Italian Winter Sports Federation, on the road to the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympics, which will naturally host the biathlon competitions in Anterselva. A cooperation that has contributed to the growth of the specialty in Italy, so much so as to allow the blue team to compete on an equal level with the traditionally strongest national teams in biathlon and to win Olympic, world and World Cup medals over the last few seasons. The agreement will allow the national teams to make the most of the facilities present in the South Tyrolean facility during the approach to the 2026 appointment.
