Event dedicated to the protagonists of the last Olympic Games, but also to the many young people who have distinguished themselves in international events.

The organizing committee Fiemme Ski World Cup, together with the APT and the Territorial Community, with the support of the Autonomous Province of Trento and the patronage of the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, celebrates the sports stars of the house. Wednesday 4 May, in fact, an evening entirely dedicated to sport is scheduled at Palafiemme di Cavalese, after an exciting Olympic season for Trentino and in particular for Val di Fiemme, with the sensational successes conquered in Beijing by Dorothea Wierer ( who has lived in the valley for some time), bronze in the biathlon Sprint, Giacomo Bertagnolli and the guide Andrea Ravelli, gold in the slalom and super combined and silver in super-g and giant at the Paralympics, and by the "neighbors" of Cembra and Pinè , Amos Mosaner, gold in the mixed doubles curling (paired with Stefania Constantini), and Pietro Sighel, silver and bronze in the short track. The Olympic Games were the highlight of this sporting season where as many as 11 athletes from Trentino earned a ticket to Beijing with great determination, and also in Val di Fiemme there are many satisfactions from local champions, such as the Nordic combined athlete. of Ville di Fiemme, Annika Sieff, world junior champion, world silver in the mixed relay, gold in the individual at the EYOF, absolute Italian champion and with a string of podiums between Alpen Cup, Continental Cup and summer Grand Prix in addition to the first historic top 3 in a World Cup event. Tesero celebrates the two promising biathlon champions: Fabiana Carpella and Elia Zeni, respectively gold and silver in the World Youth relay, and also the combinatorialist Iacopo Bortolas, silver with Sieff at the Junior World Championships, winner of the Alpen Cup circuit and bronze at the EYOF in the mixed relay . The hockey player Alessandra Weber, called up to the U18 national team with whom she won a bronze at the World Cup in Hungary, will also be awarded. During the evening, those who have obtained international calls or podiums at the Italian Championships in the various disciplines will also be celebrated, such as the combinatists Veronica Gianmoena and Alessandro Pittin, the cross-country skiers Paolo Ventura, Stefano Gardener, Simone Mastrobattista, Giovanni Ticcò, Giacomo Gabrielli, Caterina Ganz and Nicole Monsorno, the biathletes Enrico Lorenzoni and Benedetta Gilmozzi, the figure skating champion Marina Piredda, the alpine skier Davide Seppi and many other valley dwellers who distinguished themselves in the summer 2021 and winter 2021/2022 seasons. The provincial councilor Roberto Failoni, numerous authorities of the valley, municipal administrators, presidents of sports clubs, military sports groups, as well as representatives of the organizing bodies will be present at the award ceremony. To reward the athletes, the many former Olympians from Val di Fiemme were invited, that is those who have participated in at least one edition of the Games, including the medalists Cristian Zorzi, Bice Vanzetta and Franco Nones. The crackling evening will begin at 18.00 with a meet & greet aperitif with all the champions, will continue with the awards ceremony and will end with the pasta party by Felicetti, all accompanied with beautiful live music played by the Satomi Hot Night group. The event is open to all, so access to the Palafiemme will be guaranteed according to the Covid regulations in force. After a long season of competitions around the world, the time has finally come for the Fiemme blues to recharge their batteries and indulge in a pleasant evening of fun before getting back to work for next season. Smiles and fun will certainly not be lacking in the splendid Val di Fiemme, the cradle of winter sports in Trentino.
