It's official, German Chancellor Angela Merkel will not attend the Winter Olympics in Sochi in February 2014. In its place will be present to represent Germany on the other hand the German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere.
It is thus more realistic hypothesis of a boycott by Western heads of state at the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
