From Alpe di Mera to Piana di Vigezzo. The Piedmont ski areas open for athletes

After Prato Nevoso and Artesina, the Alpe di Mera and Piana di Vigezzo also open the slopes for athletes' training.

The ski resorts of Piedmont do not stop and open the slopes for the training of athletes. One of these is the Alpe di Mera which in these days, thanks to the agreement between FISI AOC and Monterosa 2000 S.p.A, is preparing some tracks for authorized athletes according to the criteria and methods provided for by the latest Prime Minister's Decree. The days will be agreed directly between Monterosa 2000 S.p.A and FISI AOC Vercelli, which will be responsible for authorizing athletes with a list of names, for conveying all training requests and for transmitting them to Monterosa 2000 S.p.A and to the competent authorities. All clubs wishing to apply for training must therefore contact FISI AOC Vercelli, in the person of the president Celeste Brunelli, who will complete the request process according to the procedures. In addition to Alpe di Mera, tomorrow, 12 December, the small Piana di Vigezzo station will also open the facilities for professional athletes and athletes of national interest registered in ski clubs. The resort will open with a cable car to reach the slopes where athletes can train. “We want to support our business, keeping the mountains alive through our enthusiasm and our determination. We did our best to be able to open and we are happy to be able to give the possibility to athletes who want to train on our slopes, so as not to stop their spirit of snow warriors ”declares Luca Mantovani, CEO of the Vigezzo Plain. The area will be open on December 12, December 13 and from December 19 to January 6 every day except for holidays. From 6 December the Prato Nevoso and Artesina ski lifts are already open and will allow athletes to train from 11 to 14 December and every day from 18 December to 6 January.

Argentera

Argentera
