Cup finals in Campiglio, Magnini and De Silvestro still bring Italy on the podium in the vertical races

The final of the ski mountaineering World Cup, which will close on Sunday 28 March in Madonna di Campiglio with the individual competitions, is even more exciting. Today's vertical races saw, in the men's senior test, the surprise success of the Belgian Maximilian Drion du Chapois, who preceded the Trentino Davide Magnini by 10 "6, with third place for the Swiss Werner Marti at 24" 7 . Everyone's eyes were on Robert Antonioli and Frenchman Thibault Anselmet, who are playing for the first position in the overall standings. Anselmet concluded his test in eighth place, a step better than Antonioli, who now has just 2 points ahead (704 against 702) on the eve of the final test. In the women's field Axelle Gachet Mollaret confirmed her supremacy in front of the Swiss Victoria Kreuzer, the Venetian Alba De Silvestro completes the podium. Satisfaction at home Italy also arrived in the youth tests: Andrea Prandi imposed himself among the under 23 men, as did Giulia Murada in front of Giorgia Felicetti among the women. Finally, among the under 20s Matteo Sostizzo was placed twentieth among men and Samantha Bertolina second among women.
