This year La Grand Course, the two-year long-distance team circuit with the six most coveted and prestigious events with seal skins, will start again.

This season will be them: La Pierra Menta, the Adamello Ski Raid and the Mezzalama, the most suggestive, spectacular and exciting challenges of the high altitude alpine theater, where the strongest athletes and the most expert fans will compete, among the peaks higher, longer distances and the most extreme conditions, the Olympus of true ski mountaineering.
THE GRAND COURSE WORLD CUP: THREE FOR ONE, ONE FOR ALL Always faithful to the traditions that distinguish it, the new edition of La Grand Course will present some novelties that will not affect its charm. First of all the new format "LGC World Championship "Which will be awarded each year, in one of the Grand Course, the title of Long Distance World Champion, a title that will reward not only the challenge with themselves and the mountains, but also the team harmony that has always distinguished this sport.
IN THREE, FOR A TEAM, FOR A SINGLE TITLE TO THE TROFEO MEZZALAMA 2019 It will be in fact the historical and legendary race of the Rose that from Cervinia leads to Gressoney, crossing the Col of Breithor, the ridge of the Castor, the Nose of Lyskamm, for a total of 45km and 3500m in altitude, which will decide the strongest team in the world in a 360-degree challenge, where nothing is obvious.
CURRICULUM ATLETAPer to face the difficulties and to better match the possibilities of acceptance to the races of Le Grand Course has been introduced from this year a categorization of the races with technical scores (for duration, height, technical difficulty ..) valid to draw up a tender curriculum for each athlete and hence a ranking that will give direct access to Le Grand Course.

Competition 2020 (second season) 03 March 2020 Open Altitoy-Ternua (Luz Saint-Sauveur, France) 27 March 2020 Tour de Rutor Extrême (Arvier-Valgrisenche, Italy) 01 May 2020 Patrouille des Glaciers (Verbier, Switzerland)
PARTICIPATION AND CLASSIFICATIONSTo be able to participate in the circuit it is necessary to have the Carta Grande Course (available at a cost of 30 Euros on the Le Grand Course website http://www.grandecourse.com/indexition) At the end of each season the intermediate ranking will be drawn up of the absolute season champions of the men's and women's Le Grand Course. The final ranking is individual and is given by the sum of the two seasons.
