Davide Magnini's feat: ascent and descent from Cima Presanella in 2h39 ''

The Trentino athlete has signed the new record on a peak symbol of the Adamello Alps.

Another company in the world of Italian ski mountaineering. This is the one signed by Davide Magnini, capable of ascending and descending from Cima Presanella in 2h39''7 ”, a new record of the route of the highest peak of the homonymous group and the Adamello Alps. At 22 years of age, the Trentino athlete on the strength of Team Salomon traveled the required 21 km in record time, reaching an altitude of 3558 meters and covering a positive height difference of 2350 meters; Magnini crossed the finish line in the heart of Piazza di Vermiglio, a municipality in the Alta Val di Sole and his hometown. The athlete of the Army Sports Center ski mountaineering team won his personal challenge, putting his signature on the home mountain: after the start at 7.19 on Saturday 18 July, one hour after the scheduled starting time due to the fog and a layer of ice on the ridge, the Vermiglio skyrunner reached Cadin downhill with a wonderful performance, which even improved his best time in training by 3 hours, 3 hours, 7 minutes and 19 seconds.
