From Saturday 22 May, after a winter season that has never started due to the pandemic, the ski lifts will be back in operation. Here are the ski resorts in Italy to practice summer skiing.

After the news yesterday evening about the green light for the opening of the ski lifts to the public starting from 22 May, there are three areas where you can ski in the next few days: Presena, Passo dello Stelvio and Cervinia.
The Presena lifts, where up to now they were only open for athletes, should be in operation for amateur skiers only this weekend, Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd May. It would seem that there will be no possibility of postponing the closing of the season.
The company Sifas (Società Impianti Funiviari Allo Stelvio) confirmed this morning that on May 29th it will open the lifts of the Stelvio Pass. The cable cars, the Geister I and II | ski lifts and the Payer and Cristallo ski lifts will be open. The price of the daily ski pass will be 49 euros.
In mid-April, however, Cervinia announced that it would start the summer ski season on 12 June, but there could be an early opening as early as next week. These days, maintenance work is underway on the Cime Bianche-Plateau Rosà cable car. But, to open the lifts in advance, the Aosta Valley will have to go from the orange zone to the yellow zone.
In July, however, only on weekends, the San Pietro ski lift will come into operation in the upper part of Passo Moro (Macugnaga).
